Many people remember the Saturday morning cartoon shows of the 1990’s. Who can forget sitting down with a big bowl of sugary cereal to watch the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Bobby’s World, or Darkwing Duck? But, the Animaniacs was the only one to really keep our attention throughout the sugar high caused by our full bellies. The zany series, which was produced by Steven Spielberg, will be back on Hulu for at least two seasons starting this month. The original voice actors for Yakko, Wakko, Dot and the others will be returning for the reboot. Before the coronavirus pandemic, Tress MacNeille, Rob Paulsen, Maurice Lamarche, and Jess Harnell had been touring with a stage show where they sang songs from the original show, and they plan on getting back on the road for that show when it’s safe again. Until then, go ahead and grab a spoon and a big bowl of chocolate-frosted oaty goodness and turn on Hulu starting November 20th to relive the glory days of the 90’s again.
