People think my favorite color is black. It's really more of a deep, deep blue for me.
Like the color of the sky just after sunset and before night, but also like the sky just before the sun is about to rise.
Death and rebirth.
Death is my dominion, they say, but it is rebirth, too, that I dominate.
My other is growth.
Persistent, but weak.
I can't blame her.
They believe that I think life is a joke.
Perhaps it is.
I want to laugh about it, but I can't bring myself to do it.
Life is... tragic.
Humans, especially.
Because they know it better than other animals.
They wish there was a hope beyond me, because I ruin everything for them.
I do.

I wish I couldn't, but there's no other way. My job will not be done until everything that breathes and walks is gone from the earth.

So what can I do?
Nothing.

Just like the tragedy of life.
I will sit here, and wait.

Until nothing is left.
