You'll pick a fact mentioned in Winston Churchill's "Their Finest Hour" speech and do some research to find out more about it. You'll describe that fact in a well-developed paragraph and then, in another paragraph, analyze how Churchill used that fact to strengthen his rhetoric.
4. Write a well-developed paragraph describing a fact you researched after reading Churchill's speech.
6. Write a well-developed paragraph analyzing the rhetoric of Churchill's speech. Your paragraph must incorporate evidence from the speech.
7. Revise your work and put it all together in its final form. You will turn in both of your paragraphs along with a works-cited list.

"when did you come, rahmun? " i asked him. "last evening," he said, "i was released from jail." the words struck harsh upon my ears. i had never before talked with one who had wounded his fellow, and my heart shrank within itself when i realised this; for i felt that the day would have been better-omened had he not turned up.
