Consider a time that you sent an email or text message to someone you were angry with, then regretted your action. What was the result? Did you try to repair the situation through further emails or text messages? Or did you employ alternate media? What did you learn from the experience?

Yes, about a few months ago, I had a fake friend who pretended she was busy because she didn't want to hang out with me.  At that moment, when I found out, I was very angry because I felt that I had been wasting my time trying to forge a good friendship with her.  So, I sent her a strongly worded text demanding why she had lied to me when I had spent my time and money making plans for us to hang out.  After I sent the text, I instantly regretted my actions because I had never talked to someone with such strong words before.  However, after a few days, the fake friend had apologized.  However, from that experience I learned 2 things:  I should've been able to recognize that she was a fake friend early on and that I shouldn't have lashed out at her.  It was an overreaction.
