Based on what you have learned about racial segregation and the arguments of George Wallace and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., explain why you think Dr. King’s arguments proved to be more effective than George Wallace’s. ANSWER: Even though George Wallace's argument was structured well and used some of the same sources as Dr. King, Dr. King's message about brotherhood was more convincing. George Wallace argued for freedom for the states to do as they liked, but no one should be allowed to ignore the rights of individuals and we should all be treated equally. Wallace realized this is his own life.
