Turn off your phone, and eliminate all distractions. Sit in a chair or on the ground, with your back straight and your eyes closed. No music, no noise, and no distractions. Now, identify a good intention that you'd like to see happen in your life. Start a timer for 10 minutes. Rest, be still, and be quiet. Breathe deeply, and focus on your good intention. It's natural for your mind to wander. When it does, refocus on your good intention. Above all, be still and quiet, and commit to the full 10 minutes. Once your timer sounds, turn it off and just sit and focus on your breathing for another two minutes.
