Will give brainliest Harlem
BY LANGSTON HUGHES
What happens to a dream deferred?

Does it dry up
like a raisin in the sun?
Or fester like a sore—
And then run?
Does it stink like rotten meat?
Or crust and sugar over—
like a syrupy sweet?

Maybe it just sags
like a heavy load.

Or does it explode?

People are often faced with obstacles in their lives. These obstacles can make it hard to see the finish line, but people can either chose to persevere or give up. When life gets tough, which action should people take, and why? After reading the poem by Langston Hughes, analyze his use of ONE poetic device to convey the theme of the poem and construct a well-organized paragraph using textual evidence.
