ARGUMENTATIVE ESSAY: BODY PARAGRAPH(S)

Prompt: Should there be more educational applications used in schools?
The modern education system continues to evolve and technology is often used to deliver learning. Chalkboards have been replaced with dry-erase boards, and dry-erase boards have been replaced with smart-boards. Tablets and laptops are frequently used in place of pencil and paper. According to the article, “The Importance of Game Based Learning in Modern Education,” by Aarti Dadheech, a computer science engineer, teachers continually face challenges related to teaching large groups of students with varying personalities, learning styles and capabilities, as well as retaining their attention. Dadheech offers the solution of game-based learning. She reports that “the knowledge and skills acquired through game-based learning are retained longer than information from other learning methods. Teachers, and others with direct responsibilities of educating kids, should provide more educational applications in schools to bring about more effective learning and positive educational outcomes for students.
The first reason why there should be more educational apps is it improves sustainability. According to Ravi Makhila’s article who’s IT professional tech geek and founder of CEO Guru Technolabs called “Top Advantages, Ideas and Features of Education Apps” and states that, “These learning apps allow students to obtain reference notes quickly by just downloading them. Also, completing a lesson on mobile app is effective and simple.” People might acknowledge the benefits of education apps. The inventory includes Leisure Hours Utilization, Reducing the Gaps, Quality Interaction, 24/7 Availability, Systematic Learning Activated, and Portability and Mobility. This only one reason why there should be more educational applications used in schools.
The second reason why there should be more educational apps is it prepares students for the future. According to Becton Loveless article’s called “Are Learning Apps Helping or Hurting Education?” who also graduated with a bachelor's degree in International Relations from Brigham Young University in 1998 and earned my MBA from the Marriott School of Management in 2002. “Using education apps prepares children to use technology. Many of the skills necessary to use apps are the same abilities they will need to perform everyday tasks and certain job functions.” If kids don’t learn how to use a technology early they might have to learn it late. This is another reason why there should be more educational apps is it improves sustainability.
