There's no glitz at this 22-year-old barbecue joint that is just one block from the courthouse in rural jackson county, texas. there may be anything glamorous about the restaurant, but there's plenty of great barbecue to be found on the menu from the massive pork ribs to the appetizing sausage covered with baby j's smoky sauce. rumor has it that owner jeremiah wooten worked on developing the sauce for nearly a year with his son jason before they opened the restaurant. he was so protective of it at first that he refused to share the secret ingredients even with his mom. if she knows, she's one of only a few because nobody can tell you the secret ingredient. most of the locals get their barbecue to go. if you want to dine at the restaurant, get there early to get a seat. you might even luck out and get to sit at the picnic table under the big oak in the patio area. if you are ever in jackson county, baby j's is worth going out of your way for, but don't come on a sunday – they're closed.

Ireally need on this i will name you brainliest if you . mr. frost's book reveals a disease which is eating into the vitals of our new england life, at least in its rural communities. what is there in the hard, vigorous climate of these states which plants the seeds of degeneration? is the violence and ugliness of their religious belief the cause of these twisted and tortured lives? have the sane, full-blooded men all been drafted away to the cities, or the west, leaving behind only feeble remainders of a once fine stock? mr. frost's is not the kindly new england of whittier, nor the humorous and sensible one of lowell; it is a latter-day new england, where a civilization is decaying to give place to another and very different one. based on what you have read in “a servant to servants,” do you agree with lowell’s analysis? cite evidence and examples from the poem to support your response of at least 150 words.

Which two elements does this excerpt from a christmas carol by charles dickens contain? "a small matter," said the ghost, “to make these silly folks so full of gratitude." "small! " echoed scrooge. the spirit signed to him to listen to the two apprentices, who were pouring out their hearts in praise of fezziwig: and when he had done so, said, "why! is it not? he has spent but a few pounds of your mortal money: three or four perhaps. is that so much that he deserves this praise? " "it isn’t that," said scrooge, heated by the remark, and speaking unconsciously like his former, not his latter, self. "it isn't that, spirit. he has the power to render us happy or unhappy; to make our service light or burdensome; a pleasure or a toil. say that his power lies in words and looks; in things so slight and insignificant that it is impossible to add and count ’em up: what then? the happiness he gives, is quite as great as if it cost a fortune." he felt the spirit's glance, and stopped. "what is the matter? " asked the ghost. "nothing particular," said scrooge. "something, i think? " the ghost insisted. "no," said scrooge, "no. i should like to be able to say a word or two to my clerk just now. that's all."
