1 Amendment: What did it change? Did it provide new freedoms, replace or enhance an old law? Did it help a particular group of people? How? After you've completed your research:

Read the writing task carefully and spend a few minutes outlining, or planning, what to write.
While writing, stop after each paragraph and reread the writing to see if it makes sense and how it might need revising.
Use specific details and examples to support ideas.
Organize writing with a strong introduction, body, and conclusion.
Vary sentences to make writing interesting and easy to understand.
When finished, reread it again to see if any more changes need to be made and also to correct any spelling or punctuation errors.
Make sure you include your sources for any research.
