Read the passage about a soccer game. I knew it wasn’t going to be a good game the minute I ran out onto the field. I slipped on the wet grass and landed on my back.

Our opponents scored three goals in the first half, but we only scored one. I know we were down because of the weather. How are you supposed to play soccer when it’s raining like you’re in the middle of a hurricane?

The second half was even worse. I was relieved when the referee blew the final whistle.

“Good game, Morgan,” my dad said, slapping me on the back.

“Yeah, right,” I moaned. “That wasn’t a game. It was a disaster!”

Based on the passage, what is the narrator’s point of view about the events in the story?
A. The narrator believes his team has bad luck.
B. The narrator believes the referee made a bad call.
C. The narrator believes the loss was related to the weather.
D. The narrator believes the loss happened because the opposing team was better.
