Rate this passage I wrote for an assignment 1-100 assing- Write a letter to a younger student explaining the importance of making good choices and how the choices affect the future. Use information from the passage to connect your own ideas to the speech.

Dear children,

When we were younger we had limited decisions compared to when we are older. Something that I could do today that I couldn't do 4 years ago, were things like how late I slept, clothes I wear on specific occasions, and etc. The choice I could have made at the age of 10 wouldn't really impact my life, since my parent was really guiding me. But now that I have more freedom, my entire future could be determined by a single choice I make. So, making good decisions as you grow up, is a very important thing.

In a passage, called Life Isn't Fair — Deal With It, it says "One of my clients came to this country from Africa in his late teens, barely spoke the language, drove a cab while working his way through college, and is now the president of a large technology services firm." this text shows how a boy came to this county at a young age but now he is a president of a large company. That is an example of how somebody would have made good choices to become the best he could be even though he wasn't born in this county. Obama was a man who wasn't really full American but became the president, through good choices. Walt Disney was born poor and was rejected a lot of times, but he didn't change his motive of making good choices even though he failed a lot of times.

A question I was asked before is 'How will people around you influence your actions?' Well, the decisions I make or am going to make will be thought through before I make them. Since everybody around me is looking at me, the choice I make must be good ones. My younger siblings are one big example, I noticed that everything I do, they watch me and imitate me.

In conclusion, When we were younger we had limited decisions compared to when we are older. But as we grow from having little decision, those decisions can impact our future for good or bad. There are a lot of people who had become the best from the decisions they made. And everybody in your life watches you and the choices you make, and those decisions could also impact other people's lives.
