Depression: Depression is something we lie about
It's something we cry about
Something some die about...
We try to hide it
We try and fight it
and some even try to deny it
Loss of words
"Loss my appetite"
Feels like swords
"Sorry if I'm not polite"
Emotionless
Motionless
Family tries to deny it
Family goes and shys it
Helpful? or helpless?
Hopeful? or hopeless?
Not always the same
Have I gone insane?
Does anyone hear me?
Does anyone see me?
It all comes crashing down
I try and hide my frown
Wanting to end it all
Without care, we fall
Some are caught
Some are dropped
Not all go through the same depression
Not all have the same impression
Life is so very cruel
Feels like it's all a duel
But, through all this, there's one thing I want to say
Stay.
Just- Stay.
Don't fall into the trap
Don't cover it with a wrap
You are loved
All are valid
Don't change for others
Just be you
Smile when you feel like smiling
Not for others
You are awesome and a wonderful being
Live to live, love to love, smile to smile, whatever just be you!
