Purpose: to demonstrate your knowledge of how to analyze an author’s voice. Reread Wilfred Owen’s poem “Dulce et Decorum Est'' and its introductory information. Also, read Owen’s biography and 3 of his other poems. This information will help you understand Owen’s experiences as a soldier during WWI, and how those experiences shaped his feelings about war.
