Students at Gardell High School cannot even take notes on a tablet or laptop because doing so is regarded as a classroom distraction by teachers. When the time comes to make their way to the workplace, Gardell students need to be prepared with specific job skills and adding computer labs at school will help.

Society relies heavily on technology; therefore, Gardell High School needs to help its students succeed by incorporating technology into the classroom.

A few nearby schools have raised enough donations from the business community so that they can purchase extra computers to create additional computer labs.​
