This activity will help you meet these educational goals: You will write a narrative reflecting internal conflict.

In this activity, you will write a narrative about an internal conflict that you faced and describe how you resolved the conflict.
Part A
Introduction: Hook
Begin your introduction with a “hook” that catches the reader’s attention and sets the scene. Include information that gives the reader answers to these questions:
Where is the event set?
What time of year is it?
How old were you when this internal conflict happened?
Part B
Introduction: Main Idea
State your main idea in one to two sentences. These sentences should explain what you learned from the internal conflict, or how the event is significant to you.

Body Paragraph 1
Now begin the body of your essay. Write the first body paragraph. Remember, the paragraph should include the following elements:
