Can't somebody help me i don't understand what supposed to do?

I'm gussing there is reading material given to you that you are supposed to use to do this assignment.

They want you to highlight words or phrases that shape the tone of the paragraph, in other words: words or phrases that give the paragraph a certain mood. For example, the word "gloomy" can make the reader feel sad, which can contribute to a sad tone.

So for the second part, you can write about what words/phrases the author uses and how it affects the tone/mood of the story.
