I wrote this poem.

Pine Forest

Lukas Tsao

I walk through the pine forest,  

The branches at rest,

The scent wafts through the air,

Like fresh shampoo in your hair,

Oh! The fragrance of the pines!

As it lingers in the air,

As the morning comes,  

And the needles hum,

Beware the glare-

of the Golden Sun,

A sudden change

Darkness came,

Sending rain to us,

A light drizzle at first,

Then a mighty pouring burst,

Take cover, I hear thunder,

I shall wait for the sun to come again.

The rain simmers down,

The birds start to chirp,

We walk out, to the water-stained ground,

And once again- the scent wafts through the air.
