Look at the K-W-L-H Chart. In the K section of the K-W-L-H chart, list the types of short fiction with which you are familiar and then write a little bit about how you generally approach these reading assignments when you get them in school. For example, think about the times you have been assigned a short story to read for homework in one of your classes. You may not know much about the types of short fiction, but when you are reading a short story, you might use sticky notes to take notes as you go.
