While a search engine is known to be a system which is designed in order to carry out web searches on the internet. Searches are done in the world wide web in order to get information or data specified in a textual web search query.

The function of the web browser is to retrieve the necessary information from a web server. It then displays the page on the device of the user for the user to see.

Numbers 1, 3, 4, 6, 9 are all web browsers. While  2, 5, 7, 8, 10 are search engines.
