A Fall Display

In some parts of this country, Fall is the most colorful season of the year. It is the time when leaves change color. As colder temperatures blow in the green leaves are transformed into beautiful shades of yellow, red, and orange. How splendid and colorful the fall leaves become depends on what the weather was like in the summer. When summer brings warm, sunny days and crisp cool nights, the leaves in fall are more colorful. Rain also plays a role. If it rains too much or not enough over the summer the fall leaves may not be as bright. Many people will enjoy outside to see fall's beautiful display of color. But do you know what happens next? All of those beautiful leaves fall out of the trees. And then its time to bring out the rake!
