Write the next paragraph in Malik’s essay, starting with the two underlined sentences and using the details he has recorded in his notes. Use transitions as appropriate to show the connections between your ideas. Even before his “firsts,” though, Marshall was making history. As an NAACP lawyer, Marshall argued against unjust laws and practices, some of which had been in place for decades.

argued against segregation: idea that facilities for African Americans and for whites were “Separate but Equal”—idea was used to justify segregation. Marshall’s argument: excluding African American students from white schools meant their education could not be equal. (example: study showed segregation lowered self-confidence.)
coerced confessions: argued that the court should throw out confession a suspect made that was coerced or forced by the police. Protecting rights of individual. Lost a highly publicized case, but still made significant contribution to the cause.
voting rights: showed that “white-only” primary elections in Texas were unfair because they denied African Americans involvement in the political process.
right to buy homes: successfully argued that African Americans could not be excluded from buying homes in white neighborhoods.
Marshall’s arguments used the Constitution to over turn unjust laws.

Plz me asap select the correct text in the passage. which two sentences in the passage introduce counterarguments to the speaker’s position in favor of recycling? we only have a limited number of resources to serve humans around the globe. by recycling and reusing the resources we have, we can preserve what untouched natural resources we have while extending the life of the resources we’re currently using. admittedly, we cannot reuse or recycle all of the materials we use in our daily lives.some materials are not recyclable, such as certain food containers.others items are not biodegradable regardless of what we reuse them for, and that can create problems in the long run. my opponent would use these limitations of our ability to recycle to counter my points about the materials we can recycle.however, this is not an “all or nothing” scenario.we should reuse and recycle the materials that we can and try our best not to buy materials and products that can’t be reused or recycled.by doing our part and encouraging others to do their part, we can increase our chances of conserving our remaining natural and manmade resources over time.
