Battle Cards is one of my favorite games, and it's really easy to play. First, two players divide an entire deck of cards so that each has 26 cards. Next, both players pull three cards off the tops of their decks, revealing the third card. The winner of the round is the player with the higher card. (Aces are high.) Players continue counting three cards and then revealing the last card until one player has all the cards in his or her deck and is declared the winner. It's that simple. Now, who wants to play? Which statement best describes how text structure contributes to the development of ideas in this passage? A. remember always that germany and italy, regardless of any formal declaration of war, consider themselves at war with the united states at this moment just as much as they consider themselves at war with britain or russia. and germany puts all the other republics of the americas into the same category of enemies. the people of our sister republics of this hemisphere can be honored by that fact.

the author develops a cold, and scared tone. making the reader shudder with fear, and suddenly become cold. i'm guessing that he's writing a scary novel, or maybe about a chilly december night.
