She knows how intelligent Charlie was as a result of the experiment, and it hurts to look at him trying so hard again with so little intelligence or aptitude for school.Miss Kinnian is driven by emotion and has Charlie's best interests at heart. She cares about him deeply. She treats Charlie with a great deal of respect and understanding.
