Help Take on the persona of a turkey who is vying for that coveted spot of being pardoned to a life of luxurious retirement. How would a turkey in this situation share his of her plea? What tone should your writing be? Would it be most effective to be humorous, desperate, cunning, argumentative, defensive, despondent, or something else?

Your response should be written in complete sentences with correct grammar, spelling, and capitalization. Your plea should be between 1/2 a page to one-page long (around 250 - 500 words).

It should include explanations on why the turkey should be pardoned (do they have eggs they need to take care of? Are they scrawny and don't taste good? Are they too pretty to eat? Do they dream of being the first turkey on the moon?

Be creative, but make sure to be convincing!
