There's only three minutes left on the clock but still a wide range on the map. If time runs out me and the other player lose this game, but I am not losing! This is a 50 cal with hollow point bullets, the most deadliest weapon from range. The scope on it reaches to about 2 kilometers so missing a fly with this scope would be impossible. Besides I'm the best sniper in the game, so I have nothing to worry about. Having this feeling inside my body feels good. Just the need to finally end it right here. To finally end this game that went on for almost a whole day! There were 500 players in the game and now it's only the two of us. Me and the other player I just spotted running into the ruins. He's about 800 meters away but with all the cluttered rocks and tattered buildings in the way it's hard to take the shot. "Dam you." I sigh tiredness because I just want this to be over with already and take the win. I have to get up now and go after him. He's probably looking for me as well. I will put an end to this guy though right between his eyes. From what it looked like that player was the best assault player: Daredevilonpoint123 was his gamer tag. He moves like a raging cheetah and can dodge bullets. He once was surrounded by a squad of players and still managed to dodge their bullets and took them all out. It was the clip of the month and sure of it probably will be the clip of the year. Anyways I'm on the move now to find this guy. The 50 cal is what I had on me and a little german semi-automatic pistol. This is the handgun that germans use when their on duty as police officers. It fits perfect in my hand and to me I can control it's recoil quite well. I manage to find another spot about 200 meters away from where the other player is. There's two minutes left on the time so I can either wait until he comes out with my 50 cal or go in there and take him out with my handgun. The decision is tough. He's in the biggest torn building over there. I don't want to run in there though because knowing he's the fastest player in the game, it will give him an advantage to dodge this little gun in the big and open room. So I wait. I wait and wait and still no sign of him. Then out of knowhere I hear him yelling. "Come on out Hikuri! I know your the last survivor left that i have to deal with so why not and let's get it over with!" How does he know I'm in the same game as him? How? Did he see my name on the map. He couldn't have. The names are disabled in the tournament. Wait but if he knows I'm here he's never coming out of that building. This means I have to go in there with him and I have to use my little pistol. This is where my heart beats, because so many things are going through my head now. I can imagine scenes going on in that building with me using this gun and not managing to get a shot. Anyways here we go. I know he's dragging me into his trap but I'm prepared for anything. He will be my fourth killed player by me then and only then will I be player of the year. Having to be known as the best sniper in game I wouldn't mind taking home a trophy for being the best player ever in game. Anyways back to the game. I'm running up to the building and I stop by the front door. I put my back against the wall and sit for a second. Forty-five seconds left and this is where it ends. I hear his footsteps echo throughout the building but it's everywhere. How can I tell where he is. The sun is at sunset just peeking over the desert hills so not much light will be left and I have to make it quick. I then throw a flash bomb inside towards the middle of the room and quickly climb up the outside wall to the next floor. By the time I got to the top the flash goes off. Then I sit and wait to see what happens next. Little did I know he had traps too. I went to take a step but stepped on a very thin wire that lead to outside. Then an explosion goes off on top of the roof. Debris is falling everywhere and at this point I'm running as fast as I can out of there. I run across the second floor and this whole place is falling apart. Is he even here? Where is he? Then I hear him. He's charging at me with his dual weilding mp5. As he runs towards me he starts firing his gun. I manage to jump off the second floor and land on to the first. He jumps off with me too but as he lands and giant piece of the roof falls through seperating us both. Then the last peek of the sunset hits my eyes through an ancient mirror that was in there. The reflection blinds me so I move out of the way. That's it! There's only twenty seconds left so lets make it count. He comes sprinting around the chunk of the roof firing again, little did he know I was already out of there. What I left for him though was a flash. As it goes off I jump from the second floor and land on top of him with my 50 cal barrel right on the back of his head. There's three seconds left on the time. "Too slow" I say with an evil grin on my face and pull the trigger.

On november 17, 1968, football fans across the united states sat glued to their televisions. a close game between two top teams—the new york jets and the oakland raiders—was being broadcast. when the jets pulled ahead with only fifty seconds remaining, viewers went wild. but then, just as the raiders were bringing the ball across midfield, the game disappeared from the screen! in its place, a previously scheduled children's movie, heidi, started playing. callers flooded the tv network's phone lines, but it was too late. the raiders scored two touchdowns in the very final moments—touchdowns that were unseen by all but west coast viewers. as a result of the interrupted event, dubbed "the heidi game," television networks began delaying their regularly scheduled programs until football games had ended.

Read the excerpt from ernest hemingway’s “soldier's home.” his father was in the real estate business and always wanted the car to be at his command when he required it to take clients out into the country to show them a piece of farm property. the car always stood outside the first national bank building where his father had an office on the second floor. now, after the war, it was still the same car. nothing was changed in the town except that the young girls had grown up. how does hemingway’s description of the town as unchanged impact the readers’ perception of krebs? it emphasizes that while the town has remained the same, krebs has changed. it illustrates that krebs despises the town he grew up in because it is boring. it demonstrates that krebs views himself as similar to the other soldiers from his town. it reveals that krebs is jealous of those who were able to stay in town and avoid the war.
