My Papa stays awake, I learn away. He smiles and nods; I read, and I repeat. Forgetting that he worked throughout the day, His eyes are droopy, spirit is not beat. I tell him, "At least one of us should rest!" Then, Papa warms my heart with knowing eyes. "I promise that I will still do my best." Unwillingly retires, and he sighs. I see the dreams he has saved up for me. Sometimes, the burden is a bit too much. But, when I look and hope is all I see I know I know no other love as such. I learn to learn lovingly day and night.
