BLM’s goal isn’t just about protesting police brutality against Black people, though that’s part of it. The group’s broader mission, according to its website, is to eradicate anti-Blackness and create a world “where every Black person has the social, economic, and political power to thrive.” Because that’s currently not the case in the US. Studies show that segregation persists in many American cities, leaving majority Black neighborhoods behind. Black communities don’t have the same access as Whites to health care, quality education, good jobs and other resources.
The system isn’t equal, and that’s what Black Lives Matter wants to fix.
Specifically, the organization does a number of things, particularly on the local level Like What Why should the black lives matter movement stop or continue on.. Explain and answer truthfully..
