HELP PLS This week’s assignment is a narrative writing piece. Included here is the prompt and the rubric that I will use to evaluate the writing. I expect multiple paragraphs (at least 3). Please study the rubric closely so that you understand my expectations. These prompts will be writing grades. Take your time and have fun with it.

We were canoeing through the inlet when we noticed some unusual movement alongside the boat. A whale was surfacing next to us. Another one followed closely behind. Suddenly our boat was being lifted out of the water.

Finish the story. What happened next? This is a story. There should be a beginning, middle and an end. There should be characters, a setting and a plot. If all of this is included, then this creative writing story should be several paragraphs long. Take your time and have fun. Refer to the rubric in order to understand my expectations.
