In an attempt to get home from Troy, Odysseus faces a variety of adversities, strange peoples, and dangerous monsters. This story, in general lines, praises Odysseus' desire to return home to his family despite all the difficulties that arise along the way. Thus, he enhances the figure of the hero in the face of different adversities, which he dodges with skill and a little luck.
