What could I add to have more detail? There are many different reasons how film and text are different. You can visualize the story differently. In the text, it’s harder to visualize a picture since there are just words/phrases and in the film, there is audio and there is a visual in front of you, so it’s easy to remember it. However, readers can use their imagination to predict and experience it on their own! For example, the suspense in the film was brought up with music when the dark, unknown “monster” came toward the people of Maple Street. This makes the audience want to get up at the edge of their chair and get the chills since they don’t know who the mysterious, suspicious person is. Without this huge, anticipation moment, the audience wouldn’t be interested. Instead, they would want to wait for the big reveal.
