Pegasus was born from the blood of Medusa's head, which was crotched by the heoir Perseus when he defeated her. Her blood came into contact with the water and generated a white foam that grew faster and faster until it became a beautiful and imposing white horse with wings, the Pegasus.

Pagasus was created from the impossible love that MEdusa and Posseidon felt for each other. However, Pegasus soon disappeared, becoming an indomitable horse, but much desired by different heroes.

One day the goddess Athena delivered a golden net to Bellerophon so that he could tame the Pegasus and defeat the chimera that terrified currants, he succeeded, but he was full of vanity wanting to use the pegasus to reach Olympus. Seeing this, Zeus overthrew Bellerophon and made Pegasus rise and become a constellation.

Due to its beauty and grandeur, Pegasus represented artistic inspiration within Greek society, as it was created by love and purity.
