Please help!! Christopher Swain swam down a river to make people aware of pollution. To make the swim bearable, Swain left
the river almost daily, sometimes to see his family. He returned on the following day to wherever he had stopped.
Along the way, Swain received support from local communities, which bought T-shirts he was selling and allowed
him to stay on their farms. Swain's efforts have not gone unnoticed. Earlier this year, he received the
International Earth Day Award.
