So i've been writing alot of poetry lately and i already posted about one. I've got a few more i'd like to share before i decide to submit them in a book of poetry i'm writing. This one's a trilogy of the queen of lies.
The Queen Of Lies
Like a lily I will bloom in the spring.
and with every trial i will bring
beauty and visionary hopes
while others never know
the secrets that lie deep beneath
the ugly truth that hurts the soul
hiding behind a gilded throne
of which The queen of lies brings
a smile to hide the horrid things
that lie beneath her placid act
with constant pangs, of which bring back
a simple shade of tearful blue
that shimmers in the hearts of new
who's innocence cannot grasp
that the queens lies will constantly attack
their soul and their smile
till after a long while
molded by her lies and pain
comes a repulsive heart, bleeding in vain
to each subject the queen gives
a mask to hide the grim lives they live
to all else it seems true
a happy scene for their view.
though all they see is the sheen
but none see those torn hearts held captive by their queen.
Her Throne
Her throne it shines
Beautiful and bright
Seemingly radiant
To all in it's sight
It's lavish velvet
Of a pretty purple hue
The stones that embed it
Making it look so new
Bu those stones are filled
With negative energy
And that velvet itself
Was made by the enemy
Behind this throne
and deep within
Lies blasphemy and pain
That seems to never end
The queen sits upon it
Dressed in a beautiful gown
Of black and red
And to top it off a beautiful crown
Her crown loaded with stones
and black cloth to top it off
and flowing through her hair
are golden snakes that seem to scoff
They curl back in disdain
as they come to life
looking down upon you
these snakes are her lies
And the red of her gown
comes from the blood of the hearts
That she hut and stabbed so deeply
and tore them apart.
The black cloth of her crown
Sucks up the light and life
of her loyal subjects
as they continue to strive
All the seemingly beautiful things
just hide the horrid scene beneath
To show to all, even her subjects
that her power is never sheathed
the beautiful things
are only there to distract
the ugly truth
that hides beneath her act
and all these things
she hides in her throne
to never disrupt
her game, act, or tone.
A Liar's Game
The queen of lies
Loves to play a game
Where she builds others up
To break them down with more pain
She brings them joy
And hope so new
Only to tear it down
With harsh words of blue
She wishes they all act happy
To keep a placid smile
So she can continue
With her game for a while.
There's nothing her subjects can do
To escape her horrid grasp
For they are weak
Put down by her for so many years
Her game is cruel
and they don't understand
why she plays it
and what she gains at hand
The queen is a sadist
Who loves to see their pain
She loves the hurt they feel
For that is what she gains
To play her game
she must keep them happy around others
So she pretends to love them
As though she was their mother.
