1. After reading section two of the novel (Cline calls it "Level Two"), do you think the book is critiquing the limits of the "real world" or is it critiquing the seduction of the virtual world? Or is it doing both? If Wade is still in the middle of his hero's journey, what is that you think he has to overcome internally in order to be a hero? In other words, what psychological or emotional barriers must he overcome?
