Education needs to be a bigger priority in the United States. According to the Census Bureau, only about 28% of adults have college degrees. If only a quarter of the population has a college degree, we will not be prepared to compete with other countries. Some people say that college degrees are unnecessary. While this may have been true in the past, more and more jobs are requiring a degree or some kind of certification. Because of this change in the job market, Americans need to get back in the classroom and study! Our future depends on it!
