A New Recipe Fred liked to cook. He often tried new things. One day he found a recipe that looked as if it would be really good. He took two cups of flour, one teaspoon of baking powder, and a little salt. He put these things in a big bowl. In another bowl he put one cup of butter, a cup of white sugar, and a cup of brown sugar. Then he mixed everything together. Finally he added a cup of walnuts and a cup of chocolate pieces.
