‘Oranges’ by Gary Soto I know the narrator is ashamed that he does not have enough money for the candy why? 3 reasons?

The narrator is ashamed of not being able to afford the candy because he offers her to buy her candy which he later realizes the candy she chose was more than what he could afford. The boy finds himself in an embarrassing situation. He manages to appeal with the store cashier, without the girl noticing and is given the candy.

life 2200 right now look pretty good because on how quickly humans are advansing, life will be a breeze. most by by then would have out lawed disese.most wouldn't have to work anymore beacuse everything would be free. the econamy for most countires would be really good, also by then u.s.a would have probably would have expaned its borders.
