Question 4 (Essay Worth 9 points) (MC)

Read the following poem and then respond to the question below:

"I'm Nobody! Who are you?" By Emily Dickinson

I'm Nobody! Who are you?
Are you – Nobody – too?
Then there's a pair of us!
Don't tell! they'd advertise – you know!

How dreary – to be – Somebody!
How public – like a Frog –
To tell one's name – the livelong June –
To an admiring Bog!

In this poem, Emily Dickinson expresses the importance of being "Nobody." In a paragraph of four to six sentences, explain how the poet feels about being "Nobody" and use specific examples from the poem to support your interpretation.

Read this passage from the online article β€œtop 10 reasons why everyone is doing yoga” by kathryn livingston. what type of propaganda is the author using? why are so many people doing yoga these days? there must be more to it than endorphins; there has to be a deeper reason why 20 million plus americans have fallen in love with this venerable practice. here is my top ten list – and if you’re a yogi, i’m sure you can think of more.
