Dear Sir: I wish to express my interest in becoming an Army Soldier for the United States Army. This is a great opportunity that I am glad I have the chance to take advantage of. I have followed the description of each battle you have fought, I consider you a natural leader. I admire how you organize, train, drill, and discipline your companies and regiments. From your observations, readings, and conversations with professional officers, I learned the basics of battlefield tactics, as well as a good understanding of the problems of organization and logistics. nI love my motherland and I can even sacrifice my life for the sake of the country. I am rather an expert in multiple fields, I was taught how to guard frontiers and to take the necessary steps in natural disaster operations. I am prepared to do all sorts of duties on different terrains. I am passionate about the military profession. I have the ability to follow orders and perform the tasks assigned to me. I understand that everywhere I go I will be representing the army even when on leave. I can work as a team and back up my fellow soldier but I have the ability to step up and take on the leadership role if the need arises. I would consider it an honor to become a soldier and I am sure that I have what it takes to be one of the best in the military.
Sincerely,

Please change this to a more modern type of speech.
