I strongly dissagree to this statement because handwriting is a way of comminication for those who cannot use words to speak. If someone goes through a tragic event and can no longer speak they turn to handwriting and write what they saw and that could help the investigation or the people trying to find someone. Handwirting is one of the best things that humans are capable of doing next to talking. People who are deaf also use handwriting to comminicate because they can no longer hear and some of them can't talk. I know this because I myself have a unlce who is 45 and deaf and he uses a piece of paper to talk to me when he needs something or uses sign language but some people dont know that much sign language so handwriting could come in very handy when needed.
