The Outsiders Task 1:
Using textual evidence, describe the main settings throughout the novel.

Task 2:
Describe the physical and emotional characteristics of two characters from the novel using text evidence for both.

Task 3:
Describe one of the main conflicts of the novel. Then explain how you can personally relate to the conflict.

Task 4:
In your own opinion, how could the outcome of the story be improved? Write an alternative conclusion to the novel.

Task 5:
In your own words summarize the events of the novel. Needs to be 5 to 6 sentences. Can include no more than one quote from the text.
