Does one-single person have the power to make themselves or the world a better place?
WRITE about a moment in a character's life when they decided to make a life-change. The change can
be positive, but it could also be negative.
Be sure to -

• use an effective, narrative point of view to develop a plot that centers on a conflict and includes
a clear sequence of events

Andrea looked at her mom's picture again. She was driving to work and smoking in the car. Every time that she looked at that picture, it reminded her that she needed to stop smoking because she had a daughter who was 16 and then she remembers that her mom died when she was 16 because she smoked. She called her daughter, Ariana, and asked if she was OK. "Yeah Mama, I'm OK. I love you." That would always be the end of the phone call. Andrea knew, that with her daughters help, she would stop smoking for good.
