GELEST
If I were an animal, the soldiers could not find me. If I
hold still I can become a deer. I lean over the creek and
lap with my tongue. I feel under my skirt for the
hooves. The soft deer tail. PC ZrSt. My nostrils
widen. I smell the wind. I look into the creek and see
the downy ears on my head. I lift my head and step
through the woods. My deer leavings are all of me you
get.
