The etymology of the word ‘preamble’ explains that it comes from old French and Latin words that mean ‘going before,’ that is, ‘preceding’. Explain briefly how todays usage of ‘preamble’ demonstrates the meaning of ‘going before’ This is in my class introduction to human services but sadly there is none so hopefully you guys know the answer, thanks :)
