Write a paragraph in colloquial English describing the difference between colloquial and formal English. Capitalize all the colloquialisms. Then rewrite your paragraph in formal English. Be sure your spelling and punctuation are correct.
Read your paragraph aloud to two or three classmates. Ask them for feedback on your selection of words and on how clearly your paragraph covers the topic. Revise your work as needed.
