"The Tell-Tale Heart" Narrative Constructive Response
Consider the point of the story where the "officers of the police” arrive. Tell the rest of the story
from the point of view of one of the policemen / detectives. Does he (it's 1843) also hear
something? How is the “suspect" acting / reacting? What does the policeman see and feel as
the story plays out. Be sure to write out the full final scene from the policeman's point of view.
