Your essay should provide a well-reasoned, focused argument support the argument with convincing evidence show understanding of the contemporary issues related to the Declaration of Independence use effective persuasive techniques and rhetorical devices follow standard English language conventions be well organized with a clear structure that lays out the argument and supporting evidence in logical order The Declaration of Independence is a big part of how America is today. Now likely without the Declaration, America would have still separated from Britan, but America might have turned out more like Canada. I do believe the Declaration was absolutely necessary for freedom for all Americans. The writing of the Declaration of Independence explains some good points on how much more controlled America would be without it. In the reading, it is explained how the King of Great Britan has a history of repeated injuries and inspiration. America today isn’t all that bad, but can the freedom is given to the people be too much? Today many political things are happening in America not to mention the rioting. But these riots aren’t just happening in America. The black lives matter rioters seem to be against the Declaration of Independence because they do not like the fact that the person who wrote it, Tomas Jefferson owned black slaves even though he was against it. I do not entirely understand why he would own slaves if he was against it, but just because that was wrong does not mean I don’t like the idea of the Declaration. It’s what gave us all freedom. If we didn’t have this freedom and “every man born equal” our society would fall into a more controlling government like communism. And everyone would not be given the same chances at life. In conclusion, I believe without the Declaration of Independence today, there may not even be an America.

Read the passage from a vindication of the rights of woman. that the society is formed in the wisest manner, whose constitution is founded on the nature of man, strikes, in the abstract, every thinking being so forcibly, that it looks like presumption to endeavour to bring forward proofs; though proof must be brought, or the strong hold of prescription will never be forced by reason; yet to urge prescription as an argument to justify the depriving men (or women) of their natural rights, is one of the absurd sophisms which daily insult common sense. does wollstonecraft maintain an objective tone in the passage? yes, because she uses objective language such as “society is formed in the wisest manner.” yes, because she uses objective language such as “it looks like presumption to endeavor.” no, because she uses subjective language such as “though proof must be brought, or the strong hold.” no, because she uses subjective language such as “absurd sophisms which daily insult common sense.”
