My favorite part of the book " The Treasure Island" was when Captain Billy Bones died and left his chest to Jim Hawkins and his mother. At the moment of his death Jim wastes no time, he checks the chest and finds on a piece of paper a map that could lead him to an island where Flint's treasure awaited him. At that moment a band of pirates enters the inn looking for Captain Billy and his chest, Jim and his mother manage to get out of there alive, but the inn is destroyed by the pirates.

It's my favorite part because the adventure starts from that point, Jim thinks he can help his mother (who lost her inn) if he finds the treasure.
