I think I would put myself in danger to stay alive rather than staying where you are. By acting upon a dangerous situation there is a greater chance that if you take the risk you will get hurt but you will save your life in the end. However by staying and not acting upon the dangerous situation you are basically waiting for the bad outcome to happen. I would much rather get hurt trying to save my life, rather than waiting for my life to potentially end because i stayed where i was.
